To start off this project i made a five second Ident. This would have been used so that the listeners would know who they were tuned into and also which site they were on! An ident is normally played at the start or the end of a song and will be played regularly to get into the persons head it helps if the song is catchy.

We decided that this was nice and clear and got to the point.
The next project I done was a thirty-second jingle this was once again to advertise the website and who was on air, although this one was meant to be a lot more catchy than the five-second clip. It wanted to be catchy so the listeners would get it stuck in their head and would know both, what they are listening to and what station it was for future references. The following link is my jingle;
I think my jingle worked out well, although it could have been improved in certain areas but altogether I think it was catchy and it fitted into the thirty-second time frame!
Jingle breakdown;
I was trying to think of what I could do to make my jingle more original than everybody else’s to which I got a tune stuck in my head and started whistling to it, this was Ohh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah by witch doctor. I then changed some of the words to SNC live and realized that it fitted in well and I could change it to make a mini song advertising SNC live. I then decided it would sound better if I had both a girl and boy singing the song to give it a mix so Ash and I sang along to it! This song, along side a jingle, lasted for eight seconds this acted as the introduction to my jingle. This worked well as within the first eight seconds they had already found out what radio they were tuned in to also they way it was sung was extremely catchy. On the other hand the recorders were really sensitive so even though we weren’t close to the microphone it picked us up really loud which made us sound really distorted.
